How we verify coupons

Updated: 25 August 2026

In short

Every coupon code and deal on Hassalna is added and checked by a person before it goes live — we do not bulk-scrape codes and publish them unseen. When we cannot confirm a working public code for a store, we say so plainly and show the verified deals instead, rather than list a dead code to fill the page. Trust is the product, so accuracy comes before inventory.

Where offers come from

Our offers come from affiliate networks and merchant partners, official merchant announcements, genuine public promotions, and deals submitted by members. Member submissions are moderated before they can appear. We do not automatically import an unverified code from a third-party feed straight onto a live page.

What "last checked" means

A team member reviews each code against the merchant's stated public terms before it is set live. The "last checked" date shown on a store page is the date we last added or re-curated the newest live offer for that store and market. It tells you how recently the page's offers were touched by a person — not that a code is guaranteed to still work at this exact minute, because a merchant can change or end an offer at any time after our check.

What we can and cannot guarantee

We can tell you an offer was real and checked when we listed it, and we surface the conditions a merchant sets — first-order only, minimum spend, a specific category — whenever the merchant states them. We do not invent conditions, expiry dates or savings we cannot confirm. We cannot guarantee a third-party merchant will keep an offer live, or that a code has stock left, after our check.

When a code stops working

If a code stops working, we grey it out so it stops being offered to everyone, and we replace it with a working one where we can. You can report a failed code, and those reports feed the same clean-up. Expired codes are not deleted: they move to a "recently expired" list on the store page, because the history of what a merchant offered is genuinely useful — but active offers always come first.

Why some stores show no coupon

Many brands run price drops or sales instead of codes, and some have no current public code at all. On those pages we show the honest status — "no public code independently verified" — alongside the verified deals and the real ways to save, and we add a code by hand the moment a genuine one appears. That is deliberately more useful than a fake or expired code.
